Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)

Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is an evidence-based treatment for young children experiencing frequent tantrums, defiance, aggression, or difficulty managing emotions. During sessions, caregivers interact with their child while a therapist provides live, in-the-moment coaching.

PCIT teaches practical skills to strengthen the parent-child relationship, encourage cooperation, and set clear, consistent limits. The goal is to create calmer interactions, improve behavior, and help caregivers feel more confident in supporting their child.
